Identity Through Art

Believing that everyone benefits from creativity, St. Veronica's Photography was founded with an inclusive spirit focused on opening the creative process; allowing everyone to contribute experience and narrative resulting in purposeful, client inspired artwork.

What We Do

Named after the patron saint of photography, St Veronica's Photography is a custom art consulting firm based in New Orleans, Louisiana. We bring your ideas to life through one-of-a-kind lens-based works. Our process is collaborative, focused on telling your story in art.

We partner with local artists specialized in 19th, 20th and 21st century photographic processes. The character of these unconventional methods uniquely resonates with the city of New Orleans.

Our clients range from personal collectors  looking to enhance a single space to developers in need of full art concepts. The client narrative driven approach paired with timeless photographic processes result in original artwork that is identifying, insightful and enduring at any scale.

From concept to installation, St. Veronica’s can help express your identity through art.

Who We Are

David and Rachel Armentor met each other while attending Louisiana State University. David was learning the craft of traditional photographic print making while Rachel was pursuing her Business degree. Over their years together, David and Rachel blossomed into successful professionals in their chosen fields, while creating the basis for their partnership in St Veronica’s Photography.

Over the past fifteen years, David has worked as gallery manager in Seattle’s Benham Gallery, has been a represented artist at Cole Pratt Gallery,  and has served as guest instructor for the Baton Rouge Arts Council and Tulane School of Architecture. David has also served on the board of the New Orleans Photo Alliance and volunteers at the annual  PhotoNOLA Photography Festival. David’s work, which has been exhibited throughout the country, demonstrates his ability to work with alternative lens based processes as well as a 21st century’s digital workflow. His current project, the Photo Crusades, is a social media project that features a “photo battle” with a different local photographer each week.

Rachel has also exceled in her profession, developing and supervising finance departments in the local non-profit community. She is currently the Director of Corporate Finance at Ochsner Health System, and has served on the boards of the New Orleans Photo Alliance and Young Audiences of Louisiana.

St Veronica’s Photography, as well as the Armentor husband and wife team, is truly a labor of love built on the combination of a devotion to photography and a successful business sensibility.
