I'm so very grateful to have had the opportunity this past week to host a creative capture workshop to a group of Tulane Architecture students that are studying abroad in Rome.
The workshop, "Roll With Ya Pinhole" was tremendous fun, educational and produced some amazing imagery. One of the highlights was seeing reactions to the Camera Obscura that was created in our makeshift darkroom. This just never gets old!
The group designed cameras out of black foam core then used vintage 5x7 film holders to create paper negatives. The negatives were then contact printed to create beautifully diffused and textured positive images. Oh yeah we tried capture Rome in all its antiquity.
