The phrase “art imitates life” couldn’t be more apparent than it is in the works of this week’s subject of the Photo Crusades – Kevin Lajoie. His street photography and polaroids reflect the everyday lives of society in the home and on the street.
Kevin, who moved to New Orleans in 2012, fell in love with the “possibilities and limitations” of Polaroid cameras while pursuing a career in music. According to his bio, Kevin immediately swore off his intended career path to throw himself full-force into the world of photography.
See how Kevin’s street sense and search for the melancholy translates into this week’s theme of the Photo Crusades
