Summer is coming to a close, kids are back in school, and the last 90+ degree days are upon us. September also welcomes back the Photo Crusades, this week focusing on the subtleness of New Orleans native Eric Whitaker.
Though the trees don’t change colors in New Orleans, Eric has documented all the many types of foliage present in the city. In his project Sentinels, Eric sought out all these representations and used black and white images to convey how, despite having greenery all year, the trees of New Orleans are always different.
