The Photo Crusades goes back in time this week with collage queen and girl power extraordinaire, Jill Stoll. Considering her work a “tribute to what is worn and abandoned,” Jill takes discarded photos and books and transforms them into contemporary media.
Jill, a New Orleans resident, has spent nine years at Tulane University where she teaches budding young artists about mixed media collages. Collages are the focus of her two latest works – Women Standing Alone and Withdrawn.
