It’s not difficult to find a photographer in New Orleans who focuses on the city’s residents and culture. This week, the Photo Crusades features one of those people - Adrienne Battistella. However, it’s Adrienne’s deep concentration and soft approach that makes her stand out amongst her peers.
Adrienne, a former Studio Arts and Photography student at UNO, spends her time as a freelance photographer and Photo Editor at ANTIGRAVITY Magazine. Her projects, which include “Jazz Fest Series: Six of Saturns at the Ace Hotel” and “Women in Black and White” focus intently on portraits. While “Girls Rock! New Orleans” plays more with action shots, the others are one-on-one, intimate contact with her subjects.
Let’s see how Adrienne’s intimacy translates into this week’s theme of the Photo Crusades
