The Photo Crusades closes out September with this week’s focus – New Orleans-based photographer and New York native Eddie Lanieri. Eddie’s take on her city of choice varies from past TPC artists in that she has chosen to focus more on the identities of her subjects rather than their public performances and appearances.
Most recently, Eddie’s photo from “Dress as Girl” was featured in New Hampshire’s Lamont Gallery as part of the Representing Feminism(s) exhibition. “Dress as Girl” is just one of Eddie’s black and white photography projects that uses simplicity and sharp focus to tell a story. Other notable collections are the current projects – “Terra Incognita” and “Lagniappe.”
Let’s see how Eddie’s love of the human life translates into this week’s theme of the Photo Crusades
